Jim lived a wonderful, long and happy life. He died peacefully, in his sleep, on Feb. 21, 2008 in Tucson.
He was always good to everyone, and he was loved in return by everyone who knew him.
He always said he believed in the Golden Rule. He lived his belief.

In 1989 he related the story of his life to Phyllis, and she transcribed it.
He also described all the cars he'd had in his life, 23 in all.
